  • I am located in Studio City. The zip code is 91604. I give out my exact address to clients after they have booked sessions with me. If this area is too far for a client to travel, they are welcome to book a session with me over Zoom!

  • Having your colors done is the first step towards presenting in the world as your authentic self. Color is energy. When you wear the right colors you look in harmony and people feed off your presence and energy in the room. The person who did my palette told me something that stuck with me for the rest of my life. They said, “When you show up to something as your authentic self, you automatically fit right in.” When we present who we actually are, people resonate with that.

It is a great investment because you save time and money. You can go shopping and weed out items that do not work and won’t be flattering on you because they aren’t in your colors. You will have items that you will never tire of and they won’t sit in the back of your closet.

Color does not just apply to clothing. It also applies to hair and accessories. You will be able to save money at the salon because you will get your color right the first time. You will be able to pick out jewelry, purses and more that work with your outfits.

  • Color Analysis is a process that involves determining an individuals best general range colors for clothing, hair, make up and accessories. The process involves testing a series of fabrics against an individual’s skin to see how it reacts.

Color Design is a more advanced method of color analysis. Color Design involves the complicated process of analyzing the hair, skin and eyes to determine and build someone’s exact color palette.

  • There are many reasons. Firstly, I want color to be accessible to as many individuals as possible. Color Analysis can be pricey, and I understand why. It’s a unique service. There is a lot of training involved to be able to perform this service. However, I believe everyone who is trying to better themselves through color should have access to be able to do that. The basic appointment is a great intro to the world of color analysis, and it gives individuals a general idea of what they should look for.

Unfortunately, for me to do deeper work it is more expensive. I have a materials cost because I have to source the fabric that I build palettes with. It takes time to get exact matches and a palette that really harmonizes with a person. I also have to analyze Pinterest boards and really get to know someone who books this kind of service with me. These appointments take time.

  • A color reading is where I build an individual a one of a kind custom color palette made out of fabric swatches. I base my results off of looks and personality, and I use the session to really get to know someone and dive deep. This appointment answers color questions beyond clothing.

A draping analysis just produces a general range of colors for clothing. It is surface level and takes a shorter amount of time.

  • The color reading gives me a ton of information and insight into you. I want to build a palette for your home that works for you. I need to know the nuances about you. I need to know what you would pick for yourself. I need to know what exact colors you actually are. The colors you are at your core are the colors you need to be living in to achieve harmony in your home. The palette for interiors is essentially a palette within a palette because I take your colors and I find wood samples, wallpaper examples, furniture fabrics, accent colors, etc. that co-inside with your personal palette.

If you live in a home with multiple individuals, then I will need to perform an advanced color analysis on everyone in the household. A harmonious household means that everyone has a space for themselves that is truly for themselves.

  • Yes. I have learned methods that make the results equal in accuracy. I also enjoy using zoom as a tool because I can see clients from around the world as opposed to just Los Angeles.

  • This is a complicated answer. It depends on who you were color analyzed by. If you were analyzed from someone who studied under Suzanne Caygill, Sharon Chrisman, or even Suzanne herself, then yes, the results hold up because the Caygill method analyzes hair, skin and eyes to an exact science.

However, if you were analyzed by someone who uses a basic system then you should get your colors redone. The reason for this is because the basic systems have changed. Back in the 80s and 90s, there were only 4 seasons. Unfortunately what happened is that most people are a blend of 2 seasons in these systems, so the results given in the 80s did not accurately produce an optimal range of colors.

  • I require payment in full to book an appointment. I accept payment via Venmo, Zelle, Quickbooks Invoice, or Credit Card over the phone.  I DO NOT TAKE PAYPAL, CASH OR CHECK. I also do not refund payments. When you book and pay for an appointment, you are committed to having your colors done.

Here is why I do not issue refunds:

Firstly, I need to protect my time. A lot of work goes into a color analysis and so much of that work happens before your appointment. I always come in prepared to do the reading. I also don’t see photos of you beforehand if we are working in person so my preliminary work is centered around getting a feel for your energy and personal preferences.

Secondly, when booking, I expect that you trust that I am going to be honest with you and perform a reading or analysis that is authentic to you. Don’t book a session unless you are confident in the service you will be receiving and are open to trusting the process. A color analysis is not for being told what you want to hear. It is about being shown new possibilities and achieving new layers of self discovery.

Thirdly, I expect you to take advantage of the time allotted for your session. Come in with questions and let’s make this collaborative with discussions. I want to help you and make sure you are happy. I am always happy to make revisions during the session and I take your feedback into account.

Here is my cancellation policy below:

48 hour window to reschedule your appointment. Failure to reschedule your appointment in the appropriate time window, will be marked as a no show. The money will not be refunded.

In the event of contracting COVID 19 or any other illness, your appointment will be rescheduled at no penalty. I don’t want you to come in if you are not feeling well. I want you to enjoy your reading or analysis feeling your most optimal. I also see other clients and I don’t want anything contagious spreading around! For both of our sakes, if you are sick, please reschedule.

Please note:  the time booked for the appointment may not be the exact time your session takes. The time you are booking pays for me to do all of my preliminary work before my appointments. It also pays for your color report and palette assembly.

  • Unfortunately, no. They really are 2 separate appointments with 2 separate journeys. If you had a basic appointment and would like to book a color reading at a separate time, you may do so by using the website scheduler.

  • Of course, color is not specific to one gender. Again, the color process is universal for EVERYONE!

  • No. The color process is universal for EVERYONE! Anyone who says otherwise is WRONG!

  • Make up can distort your natural features. The reason why I don’t let anyone wear make up to my appointments is because I need to work with you completely natural. It’s like building a house without a foundation. I need to work with you as a blank canvas and then we build.

  • Jewel Tone Summer. I’m a summer with winter influence.

  • Black is actually a very hash and intense color. It only looks good on people with intense coloring. The media has made black seem like a slimming and flattering color on everyone (The Little Black Dress), but in real life that is not true. Most individuals do not have black in their palette. If you do a basic appointment with me, and black is not in your range of colors, I would look for a brown, navy or grey.

If you book a color reading with me, you will receive your best neutrals in your palette.

However, if you cannot part with the color black, try to keep the color away from your face. Pick a scarf in one of your best colors. It’s not my job to tell you what you can’t wear. It’s my job to show you the possibilities.

  • Not at all. Anyone who says that has been fed misinformation from the internet. Do not use your veins to determine your undertone. A professional color analysis can determine your undertone because we know what to look for and how to test for it.

  • I only do this if you color your hair. I need to work with your natural coloring. Using dyes is artificial & can skew the results. You may even have the wrong hair color for your complexion. However, we won’t know until we isolate your natural features.

  • I try to work in the age range of 17+. Natural coloring does not settle in until post puberty, and I have an inherent belief that we should never restrict children and tell them what to wear. They need to be open to exploring color and expressing themselves. I want individuals to come to me excited to learn.

  • Aura photography works by using special equipment. There is a hand sensor that runs through the computer that generates your aura field on the screen in real time. When I photograph your aura, I require the individual to place their hand on the sensor. I am able to snap pictures while the software is running. The hand must always stay on the sensor.

  • Up to 5 different colors. An aura has 5 components that can each be a different color.

  • The top part of an aura represents how we think and our mental state.

The left and right parts of the aura represent how we absorb and expel energy.

The center of the aura is our core personality.

The bottom part of the aura represents how we ground ourselves.

  • In a private session, the aura photography takes up to 15 minutes to take the photos and print the comprehensive reports.

For events, it takes up to 5 minutes to take a photo of the aura and print it.

  • Aura Photography is NOT alternative medicine or medical. However, some healers will use aura photography software to see chakra alignments and check if something is out of balance.

  • I use the Aura Cloud. The reason I prefer the Aura Cloud is because I am really able to see your colors come through in real time. I think it is the most accurate aura reading software on the market. Other aura photographers most likely use the Aura Camera 6000. This system prints aura photos out like polaroids and it is used more for events and fairs.

  • Absolutely not. Aura Photography is a positive experience where you learn about yourself. There is no negativity.

  • In my opinion, no. We all have an energy field unique to us. I view this work as very positive and I try to make it a positive experience for everyone who comes to see me. You have an aura that is unique to your energy and personality. No aura is ever the same in my opinion. What someone may mean by “not having an aura” is that there could be a blockage in one of the chakras and that is why the color doesn’t come through. However, this can be resolved with spiritual work. Once the blockage is released, the aura comes through.
